Benjamin Ostrer was admitted to practice law in 1977 and opened his Orange County office in 1986, which operated under the name Benjamin Ostrer & Associates, P.C. Over the years, Ben Ostrer has handled a number of high profile cases, and he and his associates have earned a reputation for always putting their clients first. Ben has vigorously represented people from all walks of life who have been confronted with criminal charges. He has served his clients and his community since 1977. He is admitted to practice in New York State and Federal Trial and Appellate Courts. He currently serves as attorney for the Town of Chester and the Villages of Harriman and Monroe. Attorney Ostrer is also a Director of the Legal Aid Society of Orange County. A former linebacker for an undefeated Lambert Bowl winning Alfred University football team, his drive and attention to tasks have served his clients well.

David Hoovler is a Former Assistant United States Attorney and handles both criminal and civil matters in Federal and State courts. Mr. Hoovler brings a unique set of skills to the practice acquired during more than a decade in law enforcement as a police officer, Assistant District Attorney in Bronx and Orange Counties and his recent service in the U.S. Attorneys Office. Mr. Hoovler is admitted to practice law in New York, Maryland and Massachusetts and Federal District Courts throughout the United States. He holds degrees from the University of Maryland and is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Michigan State School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review and Managing Editor of the Sports and Entertainment Law Journal.

Cynthia Dolan has been associated with the firm since 2007, handling defense of cases including pleadings, motion practice, depositions and appellate practice in Federal and State Courts. Ms. Dolan has ten years of appellate experience having written and/or orally argued over 100 appeals in New York State and Federal courts. Ms. Dolan's state court experience has been in the area of general liability defense. She has litigated cases involving premises liability, New York State Civil Service Law, Executive Law, Insurance Law, General Municipal Law, Labor Law, Vehicle and Traffic Law, false arrest and imprisonment, malicious prosecution, slander, defamation, products liability and Article 78 proceedings.
